Through a unique process involving one-to-one mentoring and self-discovery, you will be empowered as a woman to redeem your past, reside in your present, and reimagine your future!
Redeem
What does it mean to “redeem” your past? To “redeem” means to “buy back,” so to redeem your past is to buy it back from whomever took it from you. Yes, your past belongs to you, but your life experiences may have been interpreted for you by others who wanted you to see them or to think about them in a particular way. Goddess in the Mirror training will help you look at the past from a perspective of personal strength and self-compassion.
As you develop and deepen the “goddess” qualities of confidence and courage, wisdom, love, spirituality, sexuality, positive body image, sufficiency, and integrity, you will see how the seeds of these qualities were planted in your and how they can begin to bloom and grow in your present.
Reside
To live life fully and completely requires making yourself at home in the present, what some have called “radical acceptance,” in which you acknowledge reality as it is rather than as you wish it to be. Goddess in the Mirror training celebrates that we are doing the best we can with the resources we have, and that residing fully in the present is the only way to prepare for the future.
Reimagine
Your future is an unwritten story. You are not destined to repeat the past; you are not your parents or your siblings. You are you and no one else, so, as Christine Miller wrote, “At any given moment, you have the power to say, ‘This is not how the story ends.'” Your future is unfolding with every passing moment.
