Amy Boxer, LPC, NCC, is a counselor who meets teens (15+) and adults with compassion, patience, and genuine care. She works with people facing trauma, grief, depression, anxiety, personality disorders, and other mental health challenges—and she understands how overwhelming life can feel when you’re trying to manage everything on your own.

Amy earned her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Edinboro University in 2019. During her internship with UPMC Western Behavioral Health at Safe Harbor, she supported individuals in crisis through short‑term residential treatment and acute intervention services. This experience shaped her calm, steady approach and her ability to help clients feel grounded even in difficult moments.

In therapy, Amy takes her cues from you. She uses a client‑centered, self‑paced style that allows you to move through your healing in a way that feels safe and manageable. Her work is rooted in solution‑focused and strength‑based techniques, helping you recognize your resilience, build practical tools, and create meaningful change—one step at a time.
